Different types of custom fields support different functions. Search for issues that were created on, before, or after a particular date (or date range). Note that if a time-component is not specified, midnight will be assumed. Please note that the search results will be relative to your configured time zone (which is by default the Jira server’s time zone). A number of JQL fields are particularly useful for project tracking. I’ve added +2 to the endOfDay() function because I needed to find out what is due in two days. Different projects may have versions with the same name, so searching by version name may return issues from multiple projects. JQL queries

The “WAS NOT” operator is used to find issues that have never had the specified value for the specified field. This filters issues whose SLA clock is running or not running according to the SLA calendar, not conditions. This filters issues where the SLA cycle is complete, meaning the issue has reached one of their stop events. This filters out issues where the last SLA cycle has failed to meet its target goal. To create an issue in Jira, you first need to specify a project. The response provides the sub-task ID, key, and the URL to the issue (which can then be used to GET additional
data, PUT updates, and so on) via the REST API.
